After moving from NYC where she worked as a visual merchandiser, Elana Tema was excited to do something new. She attended Paul Mitchell Beauty School, but developed her own method of dry cutting. Elana continues to break the traditional mold of wet hair cutting by leaving hair in its natural state and carving details into it based on how it lays on each individual’s head. She is passionate about creating effortless hair that is low maintenance and does not require a lot of styling. Elana draws her influences from art, fashion, street style and music. Sustainability within the art of hair as well as on this planet are of upmost importance to her.
